• K. Taylor Adkins, PT, DPT

    President & Founder

Dr. Adkins started her PT school journey at Mercer University in 2017. She became aware of a statistic via a student article on APTA’s website that only 3% of students enrolled in PT school are African American. By the time of her graduation in 2020, that statistic was the same. Exceed Three, Inc. was born out of the desire to increase the percentage of African American students accepted and graduating from PT school, to ultimately provide a better healthcare experience for African Americans.

Since her time as a student at Mercer University, Dr. Adkins has been involved in APTA Georgia previously serving as president of the Student Focused Interest Network (FIN). She currently serves as APTA Georgia’s Secretary and Vice Chair of the Minority Mentoring FIN. She is also completing an Orthopedic Residency through Mercer University.
